The Best Entries from Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2013

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is an international competition co-owned by the Natural History Museum and BBC Worldwide held every year since 1964. The winners of the competition have been announced in a grand ceremony held at London’s Natural History Museum. South African photographer Greg du Toit won the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2013 award for his stunning photo “Essence of elephants.”

The annual Photography competition received 43,000 entries from 96 countries. Number of extraordinary photographs made the shortlist of 100 which will be on display at Natural History Museum from 18 October, 2013-23 March, 2014. Here is a mix of both winners and runners-up selections we loved the most.
